Right Hand Shade is a high-octane rock/pop band infused with soulful vocals and bluesy guitar riffs. Hailing from the Merrimack Valley of Northern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, RHS is quickly rising as one of the most in-demand and original acts in New England, with multiple invites back all across the region. With a fusion of unique rhythms, catchy guitar hooks, soaring vocal arrangements, and lyrical content focused on such themes as hope, truth, justice and eternity, RHS delivers a high-energy performance that audiences do not soon forget. Whether lighting up the stage with a driving rock tune, inspiring the crowd to clap and stomp along, sharing relatable and authentic life stories, or arresting the listener with lush vocal harmonies in a heartfelt ballad, RHS’s mission of hope and strength in a dark age is clear.
RHS began touring in 2016 and has opened for and shared the stage with some of the most successful national acts in music today (For King & Country, Switchfoot, Tobymac, Crowder, Big Daddy Weave, Zach Williams, Zealand) before large crowds at high-profile festivals, beach amphitheaters and youth retreats. The group recorded their highly-anticipated first professional studio album in 2018 at the premier world class Halo Studio with Darren Elder and Kevin Billingslea, which dropped in July, 2019. The first single from the album, “It’s Time”, has received frequent airplay on radio stations throughout the Northeast. For their follow-up album RHS has enlisted producers & co-writers Chris Hoisington (The Brothers McClurg) and Jonas Woods of Old Bear Records to be recorded at Old Bear Studios in August 2020.
