Rick has been focused on growing God’s Kingdom through the power of music, specifically by creating Ministry and Business partnerships to showcase great artists at River Rock Music Festival over the past 6 years since its inception. Rick also owns and operates Rock Productions to promote Christian Concerts in Southern New England and to represent emerging CCM artists, such as Stephanie Joy. Although Rick does not live in Maine, he and his wife, Mai, spent their Honeymoon there!  They reside in Rhode Island; Rick has two daughters; Cinzia 21 and Alessia 15 and Rick and Mai have one daughter; Iva 3. They have been very active members of Christian Hill Community Church in West Warwick, R.I. for 7 years.

Rick has almost 30 years of business experience in brand building, marketing, event management, promotion, and sponsoring partnership activation. From 2010-2015 Rick helped create the CES-MMA brand and helped grow the CES Boxing brand as these companies reached the #1 status of Combat Sports Promotion in New England! During his tenure with CES, Rick served as the Partnership Activation Director creating high six figures in overall sponsoring partnerships. From 1998 until 2010 Rick traveled the world on the PGA TOUR creating sponsoring partnerships, producing and consulting on television shows, commercials, and infomercials as well as coaching and representing the top golfers in the world. From 1987-2004 Rick created and built a chain of health clubs in Rhode Island; Suburban Fitness Center and started the FIRST Professional Personal Training company ever in Rhode Island!

Michael & Laurie Poor

Production Managers

Michael and Laurie Poor were both brought up in the Foursquare Church; Michael in Illinois; Laurie in Maine. The met at LIFE Bible College East in Christiansburg ,VA. They have been married for almost 25 years. They have three adult children and one granddaughter. Michael has worked as the Production Manager with River Rock since its inception. Michael is a graduate of Central Bible College with a BA in Pastoral Studies and is a Correctional Officer at the Maine State Prison. Laurie is an office assistant for the State of Maine Public Health Nursing.

Steve Dyer

Head of Security

Steve and his wife, Amy, grew up in Rockland, Maine, but have lived and worked up and down the East Coast from Maine to Florida. In 2006, they moved back to Maine with their two children, Ryan and Meaghan. They live in Auburn and are members of East Auburn Baptist Church.

Steve owns a personal protection company here in Maine and is a college professor of criminal justice. He was a police officer for many years before going into private investigations and security. He trains individuals and church security teams on situational awareness, empty hand defense, defensive firearms, executive protection, surveillance techniques, access point control, monetary movement protection, and many other skills. Steve has led security teams in Florida for bands like DC Talk, Jars of Clay, Audio Adrenaline, Third Day, among many others. He has provided executive security for Promise Keepers, Road 2 Jerusalem, and several individual clients. Steve has worked as Head of Security with River Rock since its inception.

Joe McKenney

Photographer

Joe lives with his wife, Jill, and two children, Griffin & Emmie, in Biddeford, Maine. He operates a full-service portrait studio with his Sister-in-Law, Amie. Joe’s passion for Christian music began back in 2003 when he attended a festival and was introduced to Jeremy Camp and Audio Adrenaline. Since then, Joe has photographed countless concerts through the years and is excited about the increased presence of Christian Music in Maine. He said, “I am truly blessed to be able to combine two of my passions and have the opportunity to capture images of these inspirational musicians.” Joe is very involved in his community and church. As a volunteer photographer for Harvest Magazine, he helps create their cover images for each issue. He serves as chairperson of his local Recreation Commission & The Biddeford Dog Park, Board of Directors for The Heart of Biddeford, and is the past Chair of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Joe tries to give back whenever he can, donating to many local auctions and participating in Help Portrait day each Holiday season, which provides free portraits to families in need. Living by the words from a Jeremy Camp song,” I will Walk By faith Even When I Cannot See”, Joe truly believes in the power of generosity and love.

Pete Maraday

Logistics Manager

Pete is originally from New Windsor, New York. He now lives in Montgomery, New York with his wife Barbara of 23 years. They have 3 children and have been members of Bread of Life Assembly of God Church in Bullville, New York for 15 years where they have participated in a variety of ministries during that time.

Pete retired from the U.S. Air Force in January of 2006 after 24 years of service where he worked as an Aircraft Data Systems Analyst, Database Manager and Logistics Manager. For the past 11 years he has been employed with the POS Software Company, Aptos, where he’s worked in Solutions Implementation as a Technical Support Analyst. Pete has been involved with River Rock for the past 4 years. He was immediately drawn to the ministry after becoming familiar with it and seeing the impact it’s having in the Northeast for Jesus Christ. After having the opportunity to experience River Rock Music Festival and other Christian Concerts in the Northeast, assisting in the ministry became a clear calling and an obvious next step. He and Barbara also volunteer with Faith House Ministries in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley. “Working with River Rock has been an incredible blessing and I look forward to seeing how God will continue to use this ministry in the future.
